In 1989 we started A-1 Asphalt Company. My partner and I were Superior natives and spent most of our learning years doing the best we could. We promised our customers they would be happy and we gave them excellent service and value. In Superior, WI, sealcoating at that time was about all we could do. That was 1989.

Times have changed dramatically. A-1 Asphalt Company has expanded our business throughout the Northland and we can can perform any blacktop, asphalt, asphalt repair service. But one thing hasn’t changed, we still are giving quality service and promising our customers they will be satisfied with our work. So from Duluth and Superior to International Falls, Gordon, Cloquet and beyond, we cover the Northland.
